Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
• Perform safe transfers, positioning and ambulation support with attention to dignity
• Assist with feeding, hygiene, toileting and bedside comfort measures
• Document care accurately and timely to support continuity and quality
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (state certification required; Pennsylvania preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification is preferred or obtainable upon hire
• Comfort working overnight and providing attentive, detail-oriented care
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Positive attitude, strong communication skills and a team-first mindset

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient care fundamentals including bathing, dressing, feeding and toileting
• Safe transfer and ambulation techniques
• Basic vital signs and observational skills
• Clear, professional documentation and communication
• Infection prevention and standard precautions
• Compassionate bedside manner and resident-centered care approach
