Shift Type: Four 10-hour day shifts per week with rotating weekend on-call (day; rotating). Exact start/end times vary by facility schedule

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate patients with orthopedic and sports-related injuries and create individualized treatment plans
- Deliver hands-on manual therapy and progressive therapeutic exercise to help patients regain function
- Provide high-quality care across outpatient orthopedic, sports rehab, and general rehabilitation populations, with occasional inpatient involvement
- Document patient progress thoroughly and communicate outcomes with the care team
- Collaborate with physicians, athletic trainers, and other clinicians to coordinate patient-centered care
- Participate in rotating weekend call and support coverage needs as scheduled
- Educate patients and families on home programs, injury prevention, and safe return-to-activity plans
Qualifications
- Current or compact-eligible Physical Therapist license in Colorado (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Experience in outpatient orthopedics and sports rehabilitation; some inpatient rehab exposure preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Strong clinical assessment, manual therapy, and exercise prescription skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills for a rural/seasonal community setting
- Ability to adapt to variable caseloads and participate in rotating weekend coverage

- Orthopedic evaluation and differential diagnosis
- Sports rehabilitation protocols and return-to-sport planning
- Manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise progression
- Patient education and home exercise program development
- Clinical documentation best practices and working with interdisciplinary teams
- Comfort working in a high-altitude, rural environment with variable patient populations
