Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents with dignity and respect
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
- Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
- Support safe transfers and repositioning, using proper body mechanics
- Document resident care clearly and communicate with the care team for continuity
- Build rapport with residents and families to create a warm, trusting environment
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification required
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience in long-term care or similar setting is a plus
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or ability to obtain upon hire
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Ability to pass background checks and any facility-required screenings
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Active CNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic resident care and activities of daily living (ADL) support
- Vital signs measurement and documentation
- Infection control best practices and proper PPE use
- Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
- Clear, compassionate communication with residents and care teams
- Time management and reliable attendance
