Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct and indirect resident care under RN/LVN supervision
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Deliver personal care and comfort to maintain dignity and quality of life
• Help maintain a safe, clean environment for residents and the care team
• Communicate clearly and professionally with residents, families, and staff both verbally and in writing
• Document care and observations accurately using basic computer skills
• Collaborate with nurses to follow care plans and report changes in resident condition

Qualifications

• Current CALIFORNIA CNA certificate required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written
• Comfortable working under RN or LVN supervision and following care plans
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication
• Strong interpersonal skills and a professional, respectful bedside manner

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required

Knowledge & Skills

• Resident care and assistance with ADLs
• Personal care techniques and infection control basics
• Ability to maintain a safe and clean resident environment
• Effective verbal and written communication with residents and clinical teams
• Familiarity with working under RN/LVN direction and following care protocols
• Basic electronic documentation and computer navigation
