Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, supporting daily living activities
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility while promoting dignity
- Take and document vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver coordinated care
- Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation in a timely way
- Ensure a safe, clean and comfortable environment for every resident
- Build warm, respectful relationships with residents and their families
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required
- Current state-appropriate certification and clear background checks
- Comfortable working the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM evening shift
- Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Compassionate approach with experience assisting older adults preferred
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an approved CNA training program and active certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Ability to measure and record vital signs accurately
- Familiarity with infection control and safe patient handling
- Good interpersonal skills and clear communication with residents and staff
- Dependable time management and the ability to prioritize resident needs
