Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on resident care with dignity and respect
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming)
- Support safe mobility and transfers, and help prevent falls
- Monitor and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team
- Accurately document care activities and communicate effectively at shift handoff
- Contribute to a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety procedures
- Collaborate with teammates and support a positive, resident-focused culture
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)
- Authorized to work in Pennsylvania and meet state CNA requirements
- Comfortable working the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM evening shift
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an accredited CNA program required
Knowledge & Skills
- Fundamental resident care and ADL assistance
- Basic vital signs and safe patient handling practices
- Infection control, hand hygiene, and workplace safety
- Clear communication with residents, families, and clinical teams
- Reliable documentation and attention to detail
