Certified Nursing Assistant
Location: Gettysburg, PA
Shift Type: Night shift, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (NOC). Exact days of week to be confirmed with the hiring team.
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents with dignity and respect
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Take and record vital signs accurately and communicate changes promptly
- Support safe transfers and use of assistive devices to reduce fall risk
- Document resident care thoroughly and follow care plans
- Work collaboratively with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams to meet resident needs
- Contribute to a clean, safe environment by following infection control procedures
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Valid CNA license for Pennsylvania or ability to obtain it prior to start
- Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered approach
- Willingness to work the night shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Basic competency with charting and following care plans
- BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in safe resident handling and transfer techniques
- Knowledge of infection control practices and standard precautions
- Accurate vital signs measurement and reporting
- Good documentation practices and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork mentality
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced care setting
