Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver expert, compassionate nursing care in a busy cath lab environment for diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Prepare patients and assist the cardiovascular team during angioplasty, TAVR, Watchman, peripheral vascular and EP procedures
• Operate and manage EPIC and MERGE systems for accurate documentation and imaging integration
• Respond to on-call activations (3:30 PM - 7:00 AM) quickly and professionally during assigned call days
• Collaborate with physicians, techs and multidisciplinary staff to optimize patient outcomes in structural heart cases
• Maintain required competencies through Prime exams, skills checklists and continuous education

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Nursys verification required)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• DCI/BVP certification as required by the unit
• Experience in Cath Lab nursing with cardiac catheterization and structural heart procedures (TAVR, Watchman) preferred
• Hands-on experience with EP procedures and peripheral vascular interventions
• Familiarity with EPIC and MERGE electronic systems
• Ability to work rotating weekends, holidays and fulfill 14 days of call within each 6-week period

Education

• Active RN license (Nursys verification). Degree not specified in job data.

• Proficient in cardiac cath lab workflows and sterile technique
• Skilled in patient monitoring, hemodynamic assessment and procedural support
• Comfortable managing high-acuity patients during complex structural heart and EP cases
• Strong documentation skills within EPIC and imaging merge platforms
• Excellent communication and teamwork in fast-paced procedural settings
• Able to adapt to variable case lengths and extended hours when needed
