Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients thoroughly to identify functional limitations and craft individualized treatment plans
• Deliver hands-on, evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to optimize daily function
• Collaborate with families, employers, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care
• Document patient progress clearly and timely in the clinic's electronic records
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and adaptive strategies to promote independence
• Adjust treatment plans based on ongoing assessment and patient goals to maximize outcomes
• Contribute to a positive clinic culture by modeling compassion, professionalism, and a sense of fun

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy registration (OTR) or equivalent credential
• Active or eligible for North Dakota OT licensure (ability to obtain state license prior to start)
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical OT experience preferred, especially in outpatient rehabilitation
• BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Ability to pass background check and meet clinic onboarding requirements
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered, team-oriented mindset

Education

• Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (required)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in functional assessments, ADL training, and therapeutic activity design
• Comfortable with outpatient clinic workflows and productivity expectations
• Proficient in documentation and electronic health record usage
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Ability to adapt interventions to a wide age range and a variety of diagnoses
• Strong time management and organizational skills in a busy clinic environment
