Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled physical therapy care as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a skilled nursing facility
• Collaborate with therapists and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient plans
• Provide consistent, patient-centered interventions that help residents regain function and independence
• Document treatments thoroughly and on time to support continuity of care and productivity targets
• Maintain professionalism onsite, adhere to facility policies and dress code, and support quality outcomes
• Meet productivity expectations and contribute positively to the therapy department’s performance

Qualifications

• Active PTA credential or equivalent required
• 1 to 3 years of PTA experience preferred, with demonstrated competency in a skilled nursing setting
• Comfortable working on-site in a SNF and able to commit to a contract travel assignment
• Ability to meet productivity requirement of 92% and follow company policies and procedures
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with nursing and rehab teams
• Willingness to follow facility dress code of black scrubs

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on experience in physical therapy interventions for geriatric and post-acute populations
• Familiarity with skilled nursing facility workflows and documentation practices
• Ability to follow care plans, carry out therapeutic exercises, and progress patients appropriately
• Good time management to balance caseload and productivity expectations
• Positive bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills with residents and staff
