Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care with compassion and clinical skill
- Perform thorough patient assessments and create clear, actionable care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient-centered care
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to support positive outcomes
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (valid for practice in Maine or appropriate compact privileges)
- Travel RN experience is welcome but new travel nurses who are adaptable will thrive
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; specialty certifications appreciated where applicable
- Strong clinical judgment, assessment skills, and a team-first attitude
- Ability to complete required onboarding and facility credentialing for travel assignments
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and clinical monitoring with attention to detail
- Medication administration, IV therapy, and documentation best practices
- Clear communication and teamwork across nursing and ancillary staff
- Time management, prioritization, and the ability to adapt in dynamic settings
- Comfort with electronic health records and accurate charting
