Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents at Cedar Ridge Center
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Assess and monitor patient condition, reporting changes to the care team
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans
- Document patient care and progress clearly in the electronic health record
- Support patient and family education, offering clear guidance and reassurance
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control best practices
Qualifications
- Active RN license (state license or compact license as required for the assignment)
- Registered Nurse (Travel RN) experience preferred but new travel nurses welcome
- Current BLS certification required; ACLS and other specialty certs a plus depending on facility needs
- Comfortable with medication administration, IV therapy and resident assessments
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented with strong communication skills
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Medication administration and IV/infusion experience
- Proficient with electronic health record documentation
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Time management and prioritization in a busy care setting
- Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices
