Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents at Cedar Ridge Center
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Assess and monitor patient condition, reporting changes to the care team
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans
• Document patient care and progress clearly in the electronic health record
• Support patient and family education, offering clear guidance and reassurance
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control best practices

Qualifications

• Active RN license (state license or compact license as required for the assignment)
• Registered Nurse (Travel RN) experience preferred but new travel nurses welcome
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS and other specialty certs a plus depending on facility needs
• Comfortable with medication administration, IV therapy and resident assessments
• Professional, reliable, and team-oriented with strong communication skills

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Medication administration and IV/infusion experience
• Proficient with electronic health record documentation
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Time management and prioritization in a busy care setting
• Knowledge of infection control and patient safety practices
