Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to assigned patients during night shifts
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document them clearly
• Monitor patient condition, take vital signs, and report changes to the care team
• Assist with activities of daily living and patient comfort needs
• Collaborate with RNs, providers, and interdisciplinary team members to support individualized care plans
• Maintain accurate, timely charting in the electronic medical record
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
• Completion of an accredited LPN or practical nursing program
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Ability to work night shifts (Thursday through Saturday, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
• Willingness to complete facility onboarding requirements such as background check, drug screen, and health clearance

Education

• Graduate of an accredited LPN / Practical Nursing program (diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong medication administration and documentation skills
• Comfortable performing routine assessments and monitoring changes in condition
• Experience with basic wound care and patient hygiene assistance
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and team members
• Good time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate charting practices
