Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents during each shift
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and in line with protocols
• Perform timely assessments and document patient status clearly in the chart
• Collaborate with nurses, providers, and families to support high-quality care plans
• Assist with activities of daily living and support resident comfort and dignity
• Maintain safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance at all times

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in New Mexico (required)
• Previous LPN experience in long-term care or med-surg settings preferred
• BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Current immunizations and ability to pass background check and drug screen
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude

Education

• Practical Nursing diploma or LPN certificate (or equivalent)

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and accurate documentation
• Basic patient assessment, vital signs, and reporting changes
• ADL assistance and basic wound care knowledge
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
• Effective communication with residents, families, and the care team
