Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care on an inpatient rehab unit focused on recovery and function
• Administer and manage IV therapy and medication safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physical, occupational, and speech therapists to support interdisciplinary care plans
• Perform thorough assessments, document care in Meditech, and communicate changes in condition
• Use and manage specialized equipment such as mechanical lifts, Baxter and Kangaroo pumps
• Support wound care, stroke and TBI recovery plans when applicable
• Maintain patient safety and adherence to unit policies while serving as a reliable night-shift resource

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (eligible to work in New Hampshire) required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; Rehab or Med Surg experience strongly preferred
• IV experience required
• BLS certification required
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
• Comfort working with lifts and pumps; wound care, stroke, or TBI experience is a plus
• Flexible, kind, and thorough approach with strong teamwork and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Inpatient rehab clinical knowledge and med-surg fundamentals
• IV therapy and medication administration skills
• Wound care fundamentals and post-stroke/TBI nursing care
• Proficiency or willingness to learn Meditech documentation
• Safe use of mechanical lifts and familiarity with Baxter and Kangaroo pumps
• Ability to prioritize, triage, and communicate during busy night shifts
