Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate oncology patients to identify impairments such as pain, fatigue, lymphedema, and functional limitations
• Design and implement individualized, evidence-based exercise programs to improve mobility and quality of life
• Deliver one-on-one treatment sessions (60-minute evaluations; 30–45 minute treatments as clinically appropriate)
• Use standard PT modalities (Estim, USD) competently and complete device-specific training as needed
• Provide clear patient education and coach patients on recovery, assistive devices, and prevention strategies
• Coordinate care with oncologists and the interdisciplinary team to support continuity across diagnosis, treatment, survivorship, and palliative care
• Document thoroughly and accurately in EPIC and Expro
• Manage caseload efficiently (typical day: 2–3 evaluations and multiple 30-minute treatment visits) while maintaining patient-centered care
• Follow facility policies including dress code and scheduling requirements; include any required time-off requests at submission

Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire Physical Therapy license in hand at profile upload (Compact license accepted)
• Minimum 2+ years current PT experience (No new grads)
• Oncology physical therapy experience - REQUIRED
• Outpatient orthopedic experience - REQUIRED
• EPIC and Expro experience - REQUIRED
• Current American Heart Association BLS - REQUIRED
• Reliable personal vehicle for assignment
• Previous travel experience highly preferred
• Permanent address included in traveler profile and any requested time off included at submission

Knowledge & Skills

• Comprehensive patient evaluation and clinical reasoning for oncology-related impairments
• Designing individualized, evidence-based exercise and rehabilitation programs
• Patient education and communication tailored to oncology patients
• Care coordination with oncologists and interdisciplinary teams
• Delivery of timed treatment sessions and efficient caseload management
• Competency with modalities: Estim and therapeutic ultrasound (USD)
• Accurate documentation in EPIC and Expro
• Ability to treat primarily adults, with experience across all age groups welcomed
• Comfort working independently in an outpatient setting and teaching patients self-management strategies
