Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert nursing care to geriatric and inpatient rehab (swing bed) patients
• Perform advanced wound care interventions and monitor healing progress
• Monitor telemetry and respond to cardiac changes with timely interventions
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in Cerner
• Perform minor procedures on the unit safely and following policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and implement individualized care plans
• Maintain patient safety and high quality standards while delivering concierge-level service

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (required)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience (telemetry, acute care, or inpatient rehab preferred)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS and CPI certifications preferred
• Proven experience with wound care and minor procedures
• Comfortable working with Cerner or similar EMR systems
• Ability to work a 3x12 schedule and provide high-quality care in a small-unit setting

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
• Geriatric care and inpatient rehab (swing bed) experience
• Advanced wound assessment and treatment skills
• Proficient use of Cerner for clinical documentation
• Excellent clinical judgment, patient advocacy, and communication
• Ability to manage patient assignments with limited tech/secretary support
• Familiarity with standard med/surg equipment and unit workflows
• Team-oriented approach and commitment to exceptional patient experience
