Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiologic imaging procedures including CT, X-ray, fluoroscopy, and OR imaging with confidence
• Operate CT scanners and X-ray equipment safely to produce diagnostic-quality images
• Support orthopedic, oncology, neurosurgery, pediatric, women’s health, urology and primary care imaging needs across the facility
• Maintain patient safety and comfort while following radiation safety protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and clinical teams during operative and interventional procedures
• Document procedures accurately and maintain imaging records with attention to detail
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate appropriately to minimize downtime
• Practice autonomy and sound clinical judgment in a sometimes-hectic environment

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required (must be current)
• CT Certification required; demonstrated CT experience preferred
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Proof of current seasonal flu vaccination required (no declinations accepted for Oct 1 - Apr 1)
• Experience with fluoroscopy, OR imaging, orthopedic imaging, and general X-ray
• Comfort working independently and in a fast-paced hospital and multi-clinic environment
• Traveler-friendly mindset and ability to work a contract travel assignment

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in CT imaging, image acquisition, and quality control
• Strong skills in X-ray, fluoroscopy, and operating room imaging workflows
• Knowledge of orthopedic imaging techniques and large orthopedics practice needs
• Patient safety, radiation protection, and infection control best practices
• Ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images across diverse patient populations
• Good communication skills for working with surgeons, clinicians, and patients
• Comfort operating in hectic settings with autonomy and sound clinical judgment
