Shift Type: Weekdays and rotating weekends, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, Day shift with rotating weekend coverage (call on Sunday every 4th weekend)
Hours per Week: 38
Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI exams including MSK, Body, MR Angiography and Breast biopsy procedures using Siemens Aera 1.5T
- Prepare and screen patients thoroughly, review orders and determine appropriate scanning protocols
- Operate and accurately document exams in the Allscripts system and maintain clear patient records
- Ensure patient safety by identifying MRI contraindications and following established safety protocols
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists and support staff to deliver timely, patient-centered care
- Maintain imaging equipment, report issues promptly and participate in routine quality checks
- Provide compassionate patient education and support to reduce anxiety and improve the exam experience
Qualifications
- ARRT or ARMRIT certification required for MRI
- State MRI technologist license required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of MRI technologist experience
- Experience with Siemens Aera 1.5T and performing MSK, Body, MR Angiography and Breast biopsy scans
- Familiarity with Allscripts or similar electronic documentation systems
- Comfortable working rotating weekends and participating in the scheduled call rotation
Education
- Completion of an accredited MRI or radiologic technologist program preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong MRI scanning fundamentals and protocol selection
- Hands-on experience with Siemens Aera 1.5T operation
- Proficiency in MSK, Body, MR Angiography and Breast MRI techniques
- Patient screening, safety and contraindication assessment
- Electronic documentation and workflow management (Allscripts)
- Clear communication, teamwork and patient-focused bedside manner
- Ability to multitask and manage a varied caseload efficiently
