Shift Type: Alternating 3 & 4 nights per week (12-hour night shifts), 5:45 PM - 6:15 AM NOC; schedule varies week-to-week (includes weekends)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality bedside nursing care to long-term care residents during the night shift
- Perform thorough assessments and timely documentation to ensure continuity of care
- Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with facility policies
- Monitor resident condition changes and escalate concerns to providers and leadership
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and communicate effectively with families
- Support resident comfort, dignity, and individualized care plans during overnight hours
- Maintain a safe environment and assist with admissions/transfers as needed
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be licensed in Montana or eligible to obtain licensure
- Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) preferred; previous night-shift nursing experience a plus
- Comfort working 12-hour overnight shifts and alternating 3/4 week schedules
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Geriatric and long-term care nursing principles
- Medication administration and IV/PO documentation
- Night-shift triage, assessment, and escalation
- Accurate electronic and paper charting practices
- Time management and prioritization during overnight hours
- Calm decision-making in independent/night settings
