Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM with on-call coverage and rotating weekends (day/rotating)

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT imaging for a high-volume unit, managing 30 to 40 procedures per day
- Prepare patients and establish IV access for contrast studies and biopsies
- Execute stroke protocols quickly and accurately to support timely patient care
- Operate GE CT scanners and optimize acquisition parameters for diagnostic quality
- Document studies and maintain charts in MEDITECH and archive images in SECTRA PACS
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and technologists to ensure safe, efficient workflow
- Provide on-call coverage as scheduled and respond promptly to urgent imaging needs
- Adhere to radiation safety and infection control standards while delivering compassionate care
Qualifications
- ARRT-CT certification required
- BLS certification required
- IV trained with demonstrated experience placing and managing IVs for contrast
- Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience, including stroke protocol and biopsy experience
- Comfortable performing x-ray procedures as needed and providing call coverage
- Familiarity with GE CT scanners and image management systems is highly preferred
Education
- ARRT-CT certification required
- High school diploma or equivalent; formal radiologic technologist training required
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with GE CT scanner operation and troubleshooting
- Experience using MEDITECH for documentation and SECTRA PACS for image handling
- Strong IV placement skills and experience supporting biopsies
- Knowledge of stroke imaging protocols and time-sensitive workflows
- Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume imaging schedule
- Excellent patient positioning, communication, and radiation safety practices
