Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for patients of all ages and acuity levels
• Manage mechanical ventilation, ventilator adjustments, and weaning protocols with strong clinical judgment
• Deliver neonatal and pediatric respiratory support in a Level 2 NICU setting
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and on-call situations promptly and professionally
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
• Perform and interpret cardiopulmonary diagnostic tests and communicate findings clearly
• Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to safety and infection-control practices, and ensure equipment readiness

Qualifications

• NBRC RRT required (CRT candidates cannot be considered)
• Valid Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist license (DORA) in good standing
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP required
• Completion of an approved Respiratory Therapy program as required for licensure
• Strong critical care and ventilator management experience
• Neonatal and pediatric respiratory experience, including Level 2 NICU experience
• Requested with submission: skill sheet, resume, NBRC RRT certification, Colorado RT license, AHA certifications

Education

• Completion of an approved Respiratory Therapy program (as required for licensure)
