Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist with and scrub for diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including angiography, stent and balloon placements
• Operate and support GE Innova imaging systems during procedures to ensure high-quality imaging
• Maintain procedural sterility, prepare instrumentation and ensure equipment readiness
• Document procedures and patient data accurately in Meditech and MacLab
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs and the interdisciplinary team to deliver 1:1 patient care in a fast-paced Cath Lab
• Respond to on-call requests and adapt to changing unit needs with professionalism and calm
• Contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement by following protocols and reporting issues

Qualifications

• BLS required
• ACLS required
• ARRT required
• RCIS preferred (nice to have)
• Minimum 2 years of relevant Cath Lab or interventional tech experience
• Demonstrated competence in Special Procedures and GE Innova imaging
• Familiarity with Meditech and MacLab documentation systems
• Experience scrubbing and assisting in angiography, stents and balloon procedures
• Team player with strong communication skills and flexibility for on-call coverage

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and Cath Lab workflow
• Proficiency with GE Innova imaging equipment
• Comfortable using Meditech and MacLab electronic medical record systems
• Strong scrubbing and sterile technique skills
• Ability to monitor and respond to patient hemodynamics during procedures
• Critical thinking under pressure and effective teamwork in high-acuity settings
• Familiarity with instrumentation for stents, balloons and other interventional devices
