Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating: 4x10 day shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (4 shifts/week), plus one night call per week (14-hour night shift, time varies), and one full weekend (Friday - Sunday) every two weeks. Shift type: day and night (rotating).
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during diagnostic cath procedures, PCI, EP studies, and device implants to help deliver excellent cardiac care
- Prepare, sterilize, and maintain cath lab equipment and supplies so procedures run safely and efficiently
- Monitor patient hemodynamics and communicate critical changes to the team in real time
- Support diagnostic angiography and structural heart procedures with skill and attention to detail
- Provide call coverage and respond promptly to emergent cases as assigned
- Document procedures, maintain accurate patient records, and ensure inventory is up to date
- Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives to continually raise the standard of care
Qualifications
- BLS certification required
- Valid state license or certificate as applicable; license/certificate verification required
- Ability to pass Prime Core Competencies Exam, Prime Skills Checklist, and Prime Specialty Exam
- Willingness to complete required health screenings and immunizations (fit test, drug screen, MMR, Hep B, TB, Tdap, Varicella, influenza, COVID-19 vaccine as listed)
- Experience or comfort working in a cath lab environment with PCI, EP, and device procedures
- Comfort with call coverage and weekend rotations
Knowledge & Skills
- Cardiac catheterization and cath lab workflow
- Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) support
- Electrophysiology (EP) procedure assistance
- Cardiac device implantation support
- Familiarity with structural heart and diagnostic angiography procedures
- Ability to function effectively on call and during emergent situations
- Strong communication, teamwork, and attention to sterile technique and patient safety
