Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts). Schedule rotates and includes night coverage; candidates should expect to work at least 4 weekends per schedule period.
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor critically ill patients, interpreting complex clinical data to guide care decisions
- Manage ventilators and advanced life support equipment in the ICU environment
- Perform and assist with procedures such as central line and arterial line placement and intubation as needed
- Provide specialized care for neuro and oncology patients, including EVD patient management
- Administer medications and titrate vasoactive drips safely and accurately
- Document care clearly and thoroughly in the EMR (Meditech)
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams — physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacy — to deliver coordinated care
- Educate and support patients and families during high-stress moments with compassion and clarity
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) — current and active licensure
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU/critical care nursing experience
- ACLS certification (required)
- Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
- Hands-on experience or comfort with central line and arterial line care, intubation, and EVD patient management
- Strong teamwork, accountability, and compassionate bedside manner
Knowledge & Skills
- Critical care nursing principles and best practices
- Mechanical ventilation and ventilator management
- Hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation
- Central line/arterial line care and troubleshooting
- Neuro and oncology critical care nuances
- Proficient documentation in Meditech or similar EMR
- Clear communication, prioritization, and crisis management skills
