Shift Type: Rotating nights (varied weekdays), 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, includes every other weekend; 12-hour night shifts with call requirements (Night)

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess and triage emergency patients quickly and accurately to prioritize care
- Stabilize critically ill or injured patients using evidence-based interventions
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to develop and execute care plans
- Provide clear, compassionate patient and family education during high-stress moments
- Document patient care and clinical findings thoroughly in Meditech
- Participate in unit call coverage and support staffing needs as required
- Follow unit guidelines, safety protocols and attendance policies to ensure consistent, high-quality care
Qualifications
- Active RN license required (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with 2+ years of emergency specialty experience
- BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC required
- NIH training required
- Experience with Meditech is preferred
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour night shifts and meet call requirements
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong emergency nursing and triage skills
- Proficient documentation in Meditech
- Critical thinking and fast decision-making under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication with patients and team members
- Team-oriented mindset and flexibility to float as needed
- Familiarity with ER protocols, trauma response and patient stabilization techniques
