Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and triage emergency patients quickly and accurately to prioritize lifesaving care
• Provide skilled bedside nursing for acute and urgent cases in a fast-paced ED environment
• Collaborate with physicians, techs and other clinicians to deliver coordinated patient care
• Administer treatments, medications and interventions safely and document thoroughly
• Monitor patient status and respond decisively to changes and critical situations
• Educate patients and families with clear, compassionate communication during stressful moments
• Support unit flow by assisting with admissions, discharges and transfer planning

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with ED nursing experience
• Comfortable with 12-hour shift rotations and night shift practice (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
• ENPC preferred
• Able to work nights, days, weekends and holidays as needed to cover open shifts
• Strong clinical assessment and emergency triage skills

Education

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) preferred
• Current RN qualification as required by assignment

Knowledge & Skills

• Emergency department assessment and triage best practices
• IV initiation, medication administration and acute care interventions
• Calm, decisive action in high-acuity and time-sensitive situations
• Clear, concise documentation and effective communication with interdisciplinary teams
• Patient and family education during high-stress encounters
