Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert peri-procedural nursing care to cardiac cath and interventional radiology patients
• Assist the cath lab team during PCI and other interventional procedures, maintaining sterile technique and safety
• Monitor patients intra- and post-procedure, recognizing and responding to changes quickly and professionally
• Document care accurately and efficiently in Meditech EMR
• Operate and collaborate around Philips imaging/equipment to support high-quality procedural outcomes
• Educate patients and families about procedures, risks, and recovery to promote confidence and safe discharge
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to emergent cases with calm, competent action

Qualifications

• Active RN license (required)
• Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience
• Experience or background in Cardiac Cath Lab, PCI, and Interventional Radiology (preferred and highly valued)
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR and Philips cath lab equipment
• Comfort with on-call rotations for evenings and weekends and flexibility to support the unit

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of peri-procedural cardiac nursing and hemodynamic monitoring
• Skilled in sterile technique and procedural support within the cath lab
• Proficient documentation skills in Meditech or similar EMR
• Ability to collaborate with physicians, techs, and CNCs in a fast-paced procedural environment
• Strong patient education, communication, and prioritization skills
