Candidate Pay Rate: $63.75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures following departmental protocols and regulatory standards
- Process and transmit high-quality images to PACS in a timely manner
- Serve as the frontline imaging resource for patients and clinical teams, ensuring excellent service
- Participate in performance improvement (PI) and quality control (QC) activities to maintain standards
- Follow HFAP/TJC/CMS, state and federal regulations to keep the department compliant
- Support fluoroscopy procedures once permitted and assist with venipuncture where required
Qualifications
- Current CRT issued by CDPH (required)
- ARRT-R (registered technologist in radiography) required
- Current BCLS (AHA) / BLS certification required
- Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT or ABHES (required)
- Fluoroscopy permit from CDPH must be obtained within 6 months of hire
- Venipuncture certificate must be obtained within 3 months of hire
- DCI/BVP certification listed as part of credentialing
- At least 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience preferred
- Ability to pass health screening requirements (drug screen, TB, immunizations, fit test, color-blind test)
Education
- Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT or ABHES
Knowledge & Skills
- Diagnostic radiography techniques and imaging best practices
- Image processing and transmission to PACS with attention to image quality
- Regulatory compliance knowledge (HFAP, TJC, CMS, state and federal rules)
- Experience with PI/QC processes and documentation
- Proficient computer skills for imaging systems and electronic records
- Patient care skills including venipuncture and patient positioning
- Fluoroscopy fundamentals (permit required within 6 months)
