Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assist residents with activities of daily living
- Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility needs safely
- Take and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team promptly
- Support residents' dignity and independence while adhering to care plans
- Document care accurately and communicate clearly with colleagues and families
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification required (Pennsylvania certification preferred)
- Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Ability to pass background checks, TB screening, and required health screenings
- Comfort working day shifts (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) and availability for per diem assignments
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a care team
- Reliable transportation to the facility
Education
- Completion of an approved CNA training program
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of patient hygiene, ADLs, and safe transfer techniques
- Ability to take and accurately document vital signs and observations
- Familiarity with infection prevention and standard precautions
- Basic charting and documentation skills (electronic or paper)
- Compassionate resident-centered care and strong interpersonal skills
- Time management and ability to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
