Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (Day); start time flexible between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM; plus 1 self-selected weekend shift per month
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide thorough evaluations and individualized treatment plans for inpatient therapy patients
- Deliver high-quality acute care physical therapy across a range of diagnoses including cardiac, vascular, and orthopedic cases
- Document patient progress accurately using Sunrise Allscripts to ensure continuity of care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including OT, ST, nursing, and therapy leadership to optimize patient outcomes
- Use safe patient handling equipment such as ceiling lifts, Sara Stedy, and portable stairs to support mobility and independence
- Manage daily patient assignments with focus on continuity by treating patients on 1-2 floors when possible
Qualifications
- NH Physical Therapy License required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of physical therapy experience (acute care experience preferred)
- Vestibular experience preferred but not required
- Comfortable documenting in Sunrise Allscripts or similar EMR systems
- Ability to float across inpatient units and provide occasional ED coverage; NICU not covered
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in inpatient evaluations and treatment planning
- Experience with acute care patient populations including cardiac, vascular, and orthopedic diagnoses
- Familiarity with basic rehab equipment and safe patient handling devices
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary staff
- Ability to manage a typical caseload of approximately 10 patients per 8-hour day
