Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered care to older adults
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming)
- Support mobility and safety, including transfers and fall prevention
- Monitor and record vital signs and everyday observations accurately
- Communicate changes in resident condition to the nursing team promptly
- Help maintain a clean, comfortable, and dignified environment for residents
- Participate in care planning and collaborate with nurses and therapists
- Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through respectful interaction
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) or equivalent
- Previous experience as a GNA, CNA, or similar role preferred
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work evening shifts
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- GNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of basic geriatric care and common age-related conditions
- Comfortable assisting with ADLs and safe patient handling techniques
- Basic clinical documentation and observation skills
- Infection control and sanitation best practices
- Teamwork, time management, and the ability to prioritize resident needs
- Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills
