Shift Type: Rotating nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Night); includes weekends — minimum 4 weekends per schedule period
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate critical care to adult ICU patients and maintain a 2:1 patient ratio as needed
- Perform advanced bedside procedures and care including intubation, central line and arterial line management, and EVD patient care
- Continuously assess and respond to changes in patient condition, implementing interventions promptly
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and execute patient-centered care plans
- Adhere to unit policies and standard ICU protocols while contributing to a culture of safety and accountability
- Support unit staffing needs by floating to other ICUs, BMT and PCU floors when required
Qualifications
- Active RN (Registered Nurse) credential
- Minimum 1 year of ICU experience (candidates without ICU experience will not be considered)
- ACLS certification (required)
- Demonstrated competency with critical care procedures (intubation, central/arterial line care, EVD experience is a plus)
- Comfortable working night shifts and covering weekends as required
- Strong teamwork, accountability, and compassionate patient care mindset
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of ICU standards, monitoring and equipment
- Skilled in airway management and advanced hemodynamic monitoring
- Experience with Meditech EMR for charting and documentation
- Ability to manage central and arterial lines and care for EVD patients
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams
- Adaptable, team-oriented approach with strong clinical judgment
