Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert, compassionate care for critically ill BMT and oncology patients
- Manage mechanical ventilation and BiPAP support for ventilated patients
- Titrate IV drips safely and accurately to maintain hemodynamic stability
- Perform tracheostomy care and manage airway needs with confidence
- Operate and troubleshoot CRRT, A-line monitoring, and IV infusion pumps
- Document patient care thoroughly in Meditech EMR and communicate updates to the team
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary staff to optimize patient outcomes
- Deliver total patient care including turning, dressing changes, and end-to-end critical care tasks
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license (state authorization required prior to start)
- Minimum 1 year ICU nursing experience, strong critical care background required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Experience with mechanical ventilation, titrating drips, and BiPAP patients
- Tracheostomy care and familiarity with CRRT strongly preferred
- Comfort working in a 2:1 patient ratio in a high-acuity oncology ICU
- Ability to work rotating weekends and adapt to dynamic unit needs
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN, ADN or BSN) and active RN licensure
Knowledge & Skills
- Critical care assessment and prioritization in oncology and BMT patients
- Mechanical ventilator management and ventilator troubleshooting
- Continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) setup and monitoring
- Arterial line (A-line) monitoring and IV pump management
- Meditech EMR documentation and charting workflows
- Effective communication with physicians, nursing colleagues, and support staff
- Strong situational awareness, time management, and teamwork
