Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist and scrub in cardiac catheterization and related interventional procedures, supporting high-quality patient outcomes
• Operate and maintain GE imaging equipment (GE Innova) and ensure procedural readiness
• Perform Special Procedures competently, contributing to safe, efficient workflows in the Cath Lab
• Provide focused, 1:1 patient care during procedures and support timely recovery and handoffs
• Document thoroughly in Meditech and MacLab to maintain accurate procedural and patient records
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and the extended team to troubleshoot equipment and optimize care
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to all infection control and safety protocols
• Be available for on-call coverage and adapt quickly to the unit’s fast-paced needs

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant Cath Lab experience (team prefers proven hands-on procedural work)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• ARRT certification required
• Competent in Special Procedures and experience with GE Innova imaging equipment
• Familiarity with Meditech and MacLab documentation systems
• RCIS certification preferred (nice-to-have)
• Flexible, team-oriented mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced, close-knit unit

• Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures, stents, balloons and angiography
• Proficient scrubbing and sterile technique for interventional cases
• Experience with cath lab workflows, patient monitoring, and 1:1 patient care in procedural settings
• Comfortable using EMR systems (Meditech) and cath lab reporting tools (MacLab)
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot GE imaging suites
• Critical thinking, clear communication, and collaborative teamwork skills
