Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, accurate radiation therapy treatments using linear accelerators and simulators
• Perform precise dosimetry checks and assist with block cutting to ensure effective treatment plans
• Position and prepare patients with compassion, explaining procedures and addressing concerns
• Collaborate closely with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists and the allied care team to optimize care
• Document treatments and chart in Cerner accurately and promptly
• Participate in quality assurance, equipment checks and daily safety protocols
• Contribute to a positive patient experience through clear communication and attention to detail

Qualifications

• Current Therapeutic Radiology license issued by the state of California
• ARRT (T) certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Therapeutic)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 3 years of experience in radiation oncology
• Demonstrated experience with linear accelerators, simulators, dosimetry and block cutting
• Familiarity with Cerner or similar charting systems is a plus

Education
