Shift Type: Per Diem (days vary), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to geriatric residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility and safe transfers to promote resident comfort and safety
- Monitor residents’ condition and report changes promptly to nursing staff
- Document care provided accurately and timely in resident records
- Support meal service and help with feeding when needed
- Engage residents in friendly conversation and meaningful activities to boost wellbeing
- Follow infection control and safety procedures to maintain a clean care environment
- Collaborate with the care team to deliver resident-centered care with dignity
Qualifications
- Current GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) certification required
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience in long-term care or geriatric settings is a plus
- Compassionate, patient-focused attitude with strong communication skills
- Ability to pass background check and any facility-required health screenings
- Willingness to work evenings and pick up per diem shifts as needed
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- GNA certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic resident care skills: bathing, grooming, toileting, and feeding assistance
- Safe transfer and mobility techniques
- Basic vital signs and observation of changes in condition
- Accurate documentation and following care plans
- Strong interpersonal skills for resident and family interaction
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary care team
