Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist with cardiac cath and interventional procedures, supporting physicians and ensuring patient safety
• Prepare and maintain cath lab equipment (MacLab, GE, Philips) and ensure sterile field integrity
• Monitor patient status throughout procedures and respond quickly to changes
• Document procedures and patient care accurately using Meditech
• Participate in Electrophysiology (EP) and structural heart interventions and peripheral cases as needed
• Provide compassionate patient education and pre/post-procedure support
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team as a dependable, team-focused clinician
• Respond to on-call requests (evenings and weekends) with professionalism and calm under pressure

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant Cath Lab or interventional cardiovascular experience
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• CVT (Cardiovascular Technologist) or Radiology Tech credential required (per job must-haves)
• Experience with Cath Lab procedures including interventional coronary, structural heart, peripheral interventions and EP
• Comfortable operating MacLab, GE and Philips imaging systems and documenting in Meditech
• Willingness to participate in call coverage (evenings and weekends) and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork, critical thinking and compassionate patient care mindset

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on knowledge of Cath Lab workflows and interventional procedures
• Familiarity with MacLab, GE and Philips imaging systems
• Documentation skills in Meditech or similar EHRs
• Competence in electrophysiology (EP) support and structural heart procedures
• Ability to function independently while collaborating effectively with physicians and staff
• Excellent critical thinking, situational awareness and patient-centered communication
