Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide skilled, compassionate emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
- Perform rapid triage and prioritize care in a fast-paced emergency setting
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Collaborate with physicians, techs, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
- Document patient assessments, interventions and responses clearly and timely
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments and follow-up plans
- Respond to emergent situations with calm, evidence-based interventions
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — eligible for North Carolina licensure (travel nurses typically obtain state licensure)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience (specified in job posting)
- Emergency Department clinical experience or strong acute care background
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred or willing to obtain
- Current immunizations and required health screenings per facility policy
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong triage and critical thinking skills in high-acuity settings
- Proficiency with emergency assessments, wound care and IV/med administration
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt quickly
- Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and team members
- Familiarity with electronic health records and timely documentation
