Shift Type: Rotating night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM; schedule includes nights and weekends (2 weekends required per pay period)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver expert, compassionate nursing care to critically ill trauma and burn patients in a high-acuity ICU
- Assess patient condition continuously and implement individualized care plans
- Perform advanced procedures and wound care, manage EVDs and participate in MTP when needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate surgical and post-op care
- Respond promptly to codes and high-acuity events with clear communication and decisive action
- Document care accurately in the EMR (Meditech) and communicate handoffs clearly
- Mentor and support colleagues, contributing to a team-based culture that prioritizes patient safety
Qualifications
- Active RN license (required)
- Minimum 1 year of ICU experience; trauma, burn, or surgical ICU experience required
- Comfortable working 12-hour night shifts and meeting weekend requirements
- Experience with critical care procedures such as wound care, EVDs, and MTP
- Meditech EMR experience is a plus
- BSN and CCRN are preferred but not required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in high-acuity settings
- Clear, confident communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Proficiency in wound care, trauma and burn management, and surgical ICU protocols
- Familiarity with critical care equipment and monitors commonly used in ICU settings
- Comfortable managing codes and participating in massive transfusion protocols
