Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI exams and basic CT scans using GE equipment, ensuring diagnostic images every time
• Operate and troubleshoot MRI/CT systems while following manufacturer and facility protocols
• Screen and prep patients, verify safety for MRI (implants, contraindications), and provide compassionate patient care
• Accurately document procedures and patient information in Meditech
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and clinical staff to coordinate imaging needs
• Maintain strict adherence to safety, infection control, and imaging protocols
• Participate in call rotation and respond to urgent imaging requests as needed

Qualifications

• CT/MRI certifications required (must have CT/MRI CERTIFICATIONS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in MRI/CT or related radiology imaging
• Comfortable working with GE imaging equipment and Meditech documentation
• Strong patient communication skills and the ability to work in a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven knowledge of MRI and CT imaging techniques and patient safety screening
• Experience with GE imaging systems and routine troubleshooting
• Familiarity with Meditech or similar electronic documentation systems
• Understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging protocols
• Excellent patient care, communication, and time-management skills
• Commitment to radiation safety and infection control practices
