Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to PCU patients
• Monitor and assess patient status, intervening promptly as needed
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to optimize care plans
• Document patient care and clinical changes clearly and timely
• Educate patients and families about care plans, discharge needs, and follow-up

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience (experience in PCU preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to work overnight/night-shift schedules
• Current facility-required certifications (e.g., BLS) as requested by employer

Knowledge & Skills

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) clinical knowledge and best practices
• Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills
• Medication administration and clinical documentation expertise
• Excellent communication and teamwork in fast-paced settings
• Critical thinking and prioritization for acutely ill patients
