Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (primary night shift listed) with 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM day shifts also used; schedule varies/rotating (may include weekends)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality labor and delivery care: monitor patients, respond to changes, and keep families informed
- Circulate for C-sections and support OR workflow to ensure smooth, safe procedures
- Manage high-acuity situations including IV magnesium drips and other critical interventions
- Document patient care accurately in Meditech/CPN to support continuity and quality measures
- Collaborate with OB, anesthesia, NICU and the interdisciplinary team to deliver safe outcomes
- Support antepartum, triage and PACU areas as needed; float within the women’s & children’s service line
- Apply evidence-based practices to fetal and maternal care and contribute to a positive patient experience
Qualifications
- Active RN licensure in the appropriate jurisdiction (required)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience (posting lists 2 years experience)
- Labor & Delivery clinical experience with proven ability to manage high-acuity cases
- Current BLS, ACLS and NRP certifications (listed as required)
- Meditech and CPN documentation experience preferred
- Experience circulating in the OR and with epidurals/spinals/cerclage/version is helpful
- Comfort working in a fast-paced L&D unit and the ability to float within women’s & children’s services
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong maternal-fetal monitoring and labor management skills
- Proficiency with Meditech documentation and CPN systems
- OR circulating and scrub familiarity for C-sections
- Ability to manage IV drips (e.g., magnesium) and respond to high-acuity scenarios
- Familiarity with Level III NICU workflows and collaboration with neonatal teams
- Effective communication, teamwork, and patient-family education skills
