Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
- Monitor and record vital signs and resident observations accurately and timely
- Assist licensed staff with care plans and implement assigned nursing tasks
- Maintain clear, respectful documentation and communicate changes to the care team
- Support a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
- Build trusting relationships with residents and families to enhance daily life
Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) credential — VT or NH licensure indicated
- Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts and flexible per-diem schedules
- Reliable, compassionate, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong resident-centered caregiving and basic clinical skills
- Skilled in personal care, transfers, and assistance with ADLs
- Good communication and documentation habits
- Teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail in a fast-paced care setting
- Basic infection control and safety awareness
