Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in a long-term care setting
- Assess resident condition and implement appropriate care plans
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident wellbeing
- Document assessments, interventions and outcomes clearly and timely
- Participate in facility-specific competency testing and skills validation
- Support infection control and safety protocols, including immunization requirements
- Communicate effectively with residents, families and care teams to promote positive outcomes
Qualifications
- Current, valid RN license with license verification as required
- BLS certification (required)
- Experience or comfort working in Long-Term Care (LTC) settings preferred
- Ability to complete Trinity specialty-specific competency testing and skills checklist
- Ability to pass required health screenings: 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon), MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tdap, influenza and COVID-19 vaccine requirements
- Successful completion of Trinity 10-panel drug screen, fit test and respirator evaluation
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment

- Basic life support and emergency response procedures
- Competency-based skills and specialty testing familiarity
- Resident advocacy, empathy and effective family communication
