Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in long-term care settings
• Administer medications and treatments accurately while following facility protocols
• Perform thorough assessments and monitor residents for changes in condition
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in the health record and report concerns to the care team
• Demonstrate BLS and maintain safety standards to protect residents and staff
• Complete Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklists as required
• Participate in infection control, screening, and vaccination processes to keep residents safe

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (or ability to obtain) for practice in Massachusetts
• BLS certification required
• Successful License and Certificate Verification
• Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
• Required health screenings and clearances including respirator fit test, 10-panel drug screen, and TB screening (PPD or IGRA)
• Up-to-date immunizations: MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19, and Influenza
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred but enthusiastic, dependable clinicians are welcome

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical skills in long-term care including medication administration and resident assessment
• Familiarity with infection control practices and immunization protocols
• Comfort completing competency testing and skills checklists
• Proficiency with documentation and basic EHR workflows
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams
• Adaptability to work variable per diem shifts across facility settings
