Shift Type: Per Diem Pool; variable shifts including days, evenings, and nights as scheduled (shift times vary based on facility needs)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in long-term care settings
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while following facility protocols
- Perform thorough assessments and monitor residents for changes in condition
- Maintain clear, timely documentation in the health record and report concerns to the care team
- Demonstrate BLS and maintain safety standards to protect residents and staff
- Complete Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklists as required
- Participate in infection control, screening, and vaccination processes to keep residents safe
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (or ability to obtain) for practice in Massachusetts
- BLS certification required
- Successful License and Certificate Verification
- Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
- Required health screenings and clearances including respirator fit test, 10-panel drug screen, and TB screening (PPD or IGRA)
- Up-to-date immunizations: MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19, and Influenza
- Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred but enthusiastic, dependable clinicians are welcome
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical skills in long-term care including medication administration and resident assessment
- Familiarity with infection control practices and immunization protocols
- Comfort completing competency testing and skills checklists
- Proficiency with documentation and basic EHR workflows
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams
- Adaptability to work variable per diem shifts across facility settings
