Shift Type: Per Diem/PD Pool - variable shifts as scheduled (day, evening, and weekend availability may be required)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to long-term care residents
- Perform assessments, monitor conditions, and promptly communicate changes
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Complete documentation and maintain accurate resident records
- Assist with care planning and coordinate with interdisciplinary team members
- Participate in required competency testing and skills checklists to ensure best practices
- Support infection control and safety initiatives to protect residents and staff
Qualifications
- Active RN license (license/certificate verification required)
- BLS certification required
- Experience or interest in long-term care (LTC) settings
- Successful completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
- Ability to pass required health screenings: 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon), MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19 vaccine, Influenza vaccine
- Must pass Fit Test, Trinity Respirator Evaluation, Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen, and any required background checks
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong resident-centered care and geriatric nursing knowledge
- Medication administration and clinical assessment skills
- Familiarity with infection control procedures and immunization requirements
- Competence with documentation and maintaining accurate health records
- Good communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with care teams
- Adaptability to variable per diem scheduling and fast-paced LTC needs
