Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to long-term care residents
• Perform assessments, monitor conditions, and promptly communicate changes
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Complete documentation and maintain accurate resident records
• Assist with care planning and coordinate with interdisciplinary team members
• Participate in required competency testing and skills checklists to ensure best practices
• Support infection control and safety initiatives to protect residents and staff

Qualifications

• Active RN license (license/certificate verification required)
• BLS certification required
• Experience or interest in long-term care (LTC) settings
• Successful completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
• Ability to pass required health screenings: 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon), MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19 vaccine, Influenza vaccine
• Must pass Fit Test, Trinity Respirator Evaluation, Trinity 10 Panel Drug Screen, and any required background checks

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong resident-centered care and geriatric nursing knowledge
• Medication administration and clinical assessment skills
• Familiarity with infection control procedures and immunization requirements
• Competence with documentation and maintaining accurate health records
• Good communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with care teams
• Adaptability to variable per diem scheduling and fast-paced LTC needs
