Shift Type: Per Diem (PD) Pool — variable shifts as needed; may include day, evening, night and weekend coverage depending on facility needs

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in a long-term care setting
- Administer medications and treatments safely and document according to facility policy
- Complete and maintain Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
- Participate in required health screenings (fit test, respirator evaluation, drug screen) and maintain immunization records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and ensure compliance with licensing and facility standards
- Observe residents for changes in condition and escalate concerns promptly to keep residents safe
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (able to practice in Massachusetts or obtain necessary state authorization)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Ability to complete Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
- Willingness to complete required health screenings: respirator fit test, Trinity 10-panel drug screen, 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon), MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, COVID-19 and influenza vaccination as required
- Previous experience in long-term care/LTC preferred but new-to-LTC RNs who are eager to learn are welcome
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment skills and comfort managing chronically ill and geriatric populations
- Familiarity with long-term care practices, infection control, and medication administration
- Good communication and teamwork skills for collaborating with nursing and interdisciplinary staff
- Comfort with completing competency testing and following facility-specific protocols
- Organizational skills for accurate documentation and handoff communication
