Roles & Responsibilities
- Operate CT imaging equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images for patient care
- Prepare patients for CT exams with compassionate communication and clear instructions
- Verify patient identity, exam orders, and relevant clinical history prior to scanning
- Ensure radiation safety practices are followed for patients and staff at all times
- Complete required documentation, image routing and basic post-processing as needed
- Participate in Prime Core Competencies Exam and Prime Skills Checklist to demonstrate proficiency
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists and care teams to support smooth patient throughput
Qualifications
- Proficient in Computed Tomography (CT) imaging and workflow
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- DCI/BVP credential as listed in the job requirements
- License/Certificate Verification completed and in good standing
- Willingness and ability to complete required health screenings and immunizations (drug screen, TB, COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hep B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap, fit test)
- Successful completion of Prime Core Competencies Exam and Prime Skills Checklist prior to or during onboarding
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging principles, patient positioning and contrast administration basics
- Understanding of radiation safety and infection control best practices
- Comfortable with clinical documentation and following imaging protocols
- Good interpersonal skills for patient-centered care and clear communication
- Ability to learn site-specific workflows and adapt to clinical team needs
