Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures and quality imaging that support accurate diagnoses
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment, ensuring safe and effective use
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to protocols and safety guidelines
- Ensure patient safety and radiation safety by following established policies and checklists
- Document procedures, maintain accurate patient records, and report findings as required
- Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
- Complete Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and the Trinity Skills Checklist as part of ongoing competency
Qualifications
- Active Nuclear Medicine Technologist license or certification as required by state; License/Certificate Verification will be completed
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Willingness and ability to complete required Trinity competency testing and skills checklist
- Ability to meet health and screening requirements including fit test, drug screen, immunizations, and physical/health statement
- Strong patient-focused attitude and professional communication skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Radiation safety practices and handling of radiopharmaceuticals
- Patient positioning and nuclear medicine imaging protocols
- Proficiency with imaging equipment operation and troubleshooting
- Accurate documentation and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment
